hmmm photo ID?

When i was at uni we used our student card for everything. So i'm not sure why you would need photo ID to get into events.

it expired
Is it likely they'll look at the expiry date though? Wouldn't they only look at your birth date?

How comes you don't get your student ID card at the beginning of Fresher's week (presumably when you register)?

Expired passports work for my friends. I know this is about Essex Uni, but I think as long as it's clearly not fake, and was valid, most places will use their discretion and accept it Unless Essex happen to be particularly harsh....?

Without a passport or driving license, you won't get into most clubs and things, they don't have to accept an expired one as it is not a legal form of ID.

you really apply for your provisional driving license the SU won't mind once you have your reg card as you use that as prove of buying tickets, but when you got out in town and pubs and tesco they will ask for ID

you won't get your reg card until you go along to enrol with the uni

They still take expired passports.
Its still got your birthday and a photo of you on.
They always take my boyfriends, and tons of people I know take old ones because they can't afford to lose current ones.

Yeah, because its still them on the picture, its still got your birthday on and its still you.
Nowhere on alcohol licensing does it say in date id. just valid. As long as its not a fake passport its fine.

The only problem might be if your passport is from 10+ years ago or before puberty or whatever, and you look like a baby
