Is he flirting with me?

I started uni last week, and there's this guy on my course I've been chatting to quite a lot.There's a weird connection there, feels like I've known him for ages,really easy to talk to, and I think he's flirting with me but I'm not so sure. He always pulls away from his friends to come and talk to me, and is very playful and complimenting. He's always asking if I'd like to go to such and such party or event. See,I cant tell if he's just being very friendly in general, or he's hinting at anything else...girls,guys,help!!I really would like to know.
PS: I think he's cute, but wouldnt go out with him as I have a boyfriend.So, I dont think its just wishful thinking on my part.

well sounds like u got an admirere there, although if you have ure bf, then you can get intot conversation and sway it to love life, if you then mention you have a bf look to see his response, if he looks glum then he did like you, but knows you are taken and u can still be mates, but if he doesn't flinch or look glum when talking abotu it then he jsut wants to be mates, but he sounds liekan alright guy and if u think he is cute then its good, but just make sure you don't flirt back because he will pick up on it and continue flirting. but best of luck with uni and hope u are enjoying it and hopefully you can find out whether this guy likes you or not.. sorry if i wan't much help, but anyway best of luck

Definately flirting with you.
Seriously make it clear that you have a boyfriend if you're in a very serious relationship. But pre-uni relationships never seem to last so maybe break it off and see how it goes with this new guy. Just being honest please dont take offence!

General reply seems to be that he is flirting. Which may not be what I want but its good for my vanity :p:

. But, he seems a really good guy, so I hope he doesnt just stop talking to me and being my friend if I dont reciprocate. Some guys do that, just blank you if you dont feel that way about them, but still like them as friends, which isnt very nice at all.

Flirting can be fun as long as it is mild, and I don't think that it would be considered cheating either. Just let him know that you have a boyfriend and see what happens from there. Besides, you can never have too many friends!
