personally i cant see the contraversy is. if it wasnt for the huge media focus on the case then this wouldnt be an issue.

what do you think? early release or full time in prison

Early release. She isn't exactly a rapist. And teh prison system is pretty strained.

its a tough issue to think about.
with the intence media interest in the case; it would be difficult to make a fair judgement of what is in this case appropriate

on the other hand; this woman protected a bloke who brutally murdered two innocent girls.

i'd prefer she didnt get herself out and tagged.

the thing is, even if she does get out, her life is going to be hell.

True, I guess that is punishment enough.

She may be given a new identity but eventually someone will recognize her.

I feel sorry for her. She's mucked up big time and she's being treated as a real villain when she was actually probably pretty scared and willing to lie so she didn't lose the man she loved. I don't think it would have been sensible to tag her tho, purely for her own safety.

at the end of the day, she didnt know he'd done it. she probably feels awful for what she did, and shes been punished.

so many people lie to police, and give false alabi...

she should be released and moved to spain or something.

love Katy ***

Well if it wasn't for the media focus, nobody would really care either.
To be honest, i don't care either way. If she's let out on this scheme, does it really matter?
And if she isn't let out, again does it matter?
I doubt she can lead much of a life again after all that happened, and she's sure to be recognised, whatever happens to her.
