why am i such an idiot?

ok so me and a friend went to a bar tonight and as she was getting some money out of the machine i caught the eye of this guy who was sitting down with a couple of friends. so he smiled at me and i smiled back then me and my friend went to get a drink and sat elsewhere.

then we went on a quiz machine thingy and i saw him up at the bar on his own. he saw me and again we both exchanged glances and smiled.

then me and my friend stood by a table opposite his and we kept looking over at each other...then he went off to the loo so me and my friend sat on the table next to his. then my friend went off to the loo and im just such an idiot cos i couldnt start up a convo with this guy. if he had been on his own then maybe i would of but he wasnt and him and his friends left after a while.

im such an idiot. but...so i dont get all down in thinking thats it forever now, if its meant to happen then we'll meet again.

but i am an idiot. :frown:

lol, no she didnt follow him to the loos....she went a while after he was already in the loos.

You should have said something. (Think that is what he means)
BUT what's done is done and maybe you will meet again, maybe not - perhaps if there is a next time you will pluck up the courage to say hi... =0)

Meh, that is the story of my life... You're not an idiot, just shy and lacking in confidence. Did you ever think that maybe he's exactly the same?? He's probably sitting somewhere, kicking himself for not coming over.
