The pill

I know I made a thread similar to this but this is more specific - how long in advance do you have to go on the pill in order to stop the next period? Ie 4 weeks? 1 week? Also if you start taking it and then stop does your cycle and regular pattern go straight back to normal or is it messed up for a year?

As you can tell I know nothing about this stuff lol Ive tried looking it up but cant find an answer to my question.

depending on when you first take the pill its normally the first day of your period or was for mine you take it all month and then if you run two packs together you won't have your next period at all. you normally take 21 pills one a day then break for 7 on then start your next pack having a period in that break.

If you stop taking it it makes your periods a bit different at first often if they were irregular they stay regular and lighter.
