i've got a question....[weird breakup]

my bf sorta broke up with me last saturday without giving me a proper reason.we were doing fine before that.he says he needs time to think but i think he's already made up his mind.he says we'll tallk about it but he needs to sort his mind out.thing is it was really odd of him to have done so.what does it mean? :frown:

Maybe you two are just growing apart, or maybe he wants to take his life down a different road. Not to pry, but are you sure that everything was fine? Last time that I heard a guy say that, he had been cheating on me for a month!

If you feel like it's worth it to wait for him and actually think that you could get back together, then give him some time. If not, move on...which is what I'd try to do. Good luck!

yeh everything's been fine.i'd just come back from holiday n he'd mail n txt about how much he missed me n couldn't want to make up for lost time n stuff.n i saw him a week before he did it..n he'd even wanted me to go over to his for the evening next time i saw him.then he went wierd a day before he did it.i'm just soo pissed n tired of waiting really... :frown:

but i guess i'll manage evntually..has it happened to anyone like thjis before? n thanks for giving ur thoughts :smile:

yeah happened with my ex girlfriend, she went on holiday, came round my house when she came back, lieing on my bed, hugging kissin sayin how much she loved me, then bout 10 minutes later she starts gettin funny, looks sad, and comes out and says this aint what she wants anymore. To this day a year later she still aint given me a proper reason why! not that i care now, just pissed me off! would have liked to know wot happened.

Just give him as much space as possible, dont go texting ringing emailing him, wait for him to contact you, thats really hard to do but trust me its the best option, it may help to prepare for the worst incase you do breakup, so get out of the house, keep yourself busy wit friends etc. Hope it all works out though

Ever heard the old adage, "distance makes the heart grow fonder"? If that isn't the worst bullsh** i have ever heard. When people see how different it is when youre not there, they begin to think whether or not they even need you. kinda like, "is the grass truely greener on the other side." "could i be better off?" Not that I am clingy, but my gf is going to hawaii for her graduation present. I think she will have a wonderful time but i am a little worried, i won't lie about that. But yes...any vacation away from your bf/gf does cause some distance. Its each others love and trust that allows you to come back to each other...

i'm sure things will be fine with you two.if u guys truly love/like each other a lot n u can trust her i'm sure u two will get through it.how long she going for?just try to keep in touch n stuff just in case she does start to wander a bit.just so she remembers ur there waiting for her.oh n u guys talk about her going away n how u feel about it n stuff.coz i think that's where i sorta went wrong with my bf.i dunno.he's still thinking lol if u can believe it.but i hope things do get better even tho things would have changed.

That sucks for u! relationships are complicated things, just as people are. Everyone goes through periods in their life where they feel a little strange and they might feel like they need their own space, I think its kinda natural. I think you should look at the situation and if it is causing you way too much stress then just forget about him and move on, its hard but your just gonna keep getting more and more frustrated. If you really love him and want to try and understand why he is being this way then give him some space and see what he says. Good luck to you, keep your head up and remember there are plenty more fish in the sea!!! :smile:
