Damn, Fluffy, you made my heart stop beating for just one moment there!

On the instruction on how to complete the Oxford application form there is no such thing as "Medicine" - however, you may choose between "Physiological Sciences B100" and "Physiological Sciences (Medicine) A100". Surely, there is a difference.

P.s. From http://www.admissions.ox.ac.uk/courses/medi.shtml: "UCAS codes: Standard course: A100 BMBCh; Accelerated course: A101 (Graduate entry only) BMBCh4 ".

No - you made my heart stop! Pre-clin medics were studying for a Biomed BA when I graduated from Oxford. I would have hated for you to have put the wrong course down, thinking that you were applying for medicine.

Physiological sciences (B100) is a 3 year BA. You are not a medical doctor at the end of it. A100 is the standard medicine course. If you've applied for A100 then breath easy, just don;t give peeps a heart attack by saying Physiological Sciences!!!

According to the Oxford Medicine prospectus, the course title is simply BMBCh, there's no mention of "Physiological Sciences (Medicine)"

I am planning on applying to Oxbridge next year (I'm doing ASs at the moment), but I have no idea which subject to choose. I did my GCSEs last year (see sig) and I'm doing French, Latin, Greek, History and English (and am carrying them all on to A2). I have spoken to my subject teachers and each one says that if I wanted to apply to read their subject then I would be in with a chance. Does ANYONE have any advice at all on what I should do? Thanks!

do whatever looks interesting to you. i just started an english course at le ford, which is fun but also kinda hard when it comes to time-management... (i am currently avoiding doing an essay that is due in tomorrow  ). so yeh, go to open days and stuff and ask people who are doing the courses what they think of them. and read prospectuses. those things are useful.
