Question for women (not explicit)

Why do women seem to chase men with money so badly?

I mean we see these guys, bad guys, violent, career criminals, or just straight ugly and dumb peeps, rolling with the illest women. I mean we understand that money is important, but the gold digger instinct is so stong.

If tomorrow I won £8 million on the lotto, so many girls would suddenly like me, or pretend to like me.

I ask if this is something rooted deep in the female psyche, the need for security that money can buy.

As proof of this (just look around), consider that rap legend Jay Z admits that if not for his $400 million dollar fortune, he would not get much chocha. He says in SONG CRY:

"It was the cheese helped them b***hes get amnesia quick
I used to cut up they buddies, now they sayin they love me
Used to tell they friends I was ugly and wouldn't touch me
Then I showed up in that dubbed out buggy
And then they got fussy and they don't remember that
And I don't remember you.."

Women want the best for their prospective children - a solid provider... or a pair of designer shoes. It just depends on how cynical you are.

St Christopher tells us:

"Heart throb, never, black and ugly as ever
However, I stay coochied down to the socks
Rings and watch filled with rocks"

Translates to:

I'm fat and ugly, I know that, but due to my money, displayed clearly by the jewel encrusted time piece I support and finger rings dripping in diamond, I get so many ladies I dont know what to do!
Coz we want them to buy us nice things

lol... just a suggestion, my man has no money

And you'd leave him in 5 minutes for a wealthy bloke...
I never would.

Ok. :/

So, its just about getting nice things for girls. I appreciate that, honies can play the game too.
Well, some men also like rich women  I guess it means an easy (?) life.... I'd rather love someone more and have less money, but hey, maybe I'm too much of a romantic...

I believe quite strongly that the man should be the provider (honies can work, but then they should keep there own money). Its an insult for a man to have a honey pay for him.

I'd never ever let a date pay for me, or split the bill. Such actions would undermine my standing as a man. Thus a man shoulnt chase a lady for her money, its dishonorable.
I like the traditional men are the provider thing, it works for me, my bf insists on paying for dinner too, even if he's short of cash. I do like a gentleman. But at the same time, he can be a provider and not be rolling in money. Also, I do intend to work.
Aye, ladies working is fine, but your money should be yours to keep, and not be accesable to your man. If he needs to borrow money of you, he has degraded himself.

I'm glad the old gentlemenly ways still have a few adherents. And moreso that there are ladies who appreciate it.

There is a difference between a lady and a woman. Its one of perspective, you seem to be a lady.
I'll take that as a compliment  There don't seem to be many guys around now who are into being gentlemanly, keep it, it's an attractive quality to have

Anyway, I must go to bed now, it's been nice (and interesting) chatting with you.

Night night
As hard as this is to believe, guys with massive egos tend to be more gentlemenly. Cos any other form of behavior may hurt there pride.

Trust me.

Night, I must sleep too.
lol, ok, I believe you, I even repped you for being a real man lol  night
I'm not sure how this "repping" thing works, but thanks. Much appreciated.

i think it's just the natural human survival instinct....its deep in our brains.
In the past if you had no money, you'd starve...so naturally you go for the better future and also the baby thing - maternal instinct. But if i girls meets a guy she really likes, when it comes down to it, money probably wont matter

Yes there are some shallow women in this world, but there are also shallow men.
or just straight ugly and dumb peeps, rolling with the illest women.

One example of shallowness.
