Chants

So, anyone else walking round with hall chants stuck in their heads? I had 'Rutland take it up the arse' in my head, which was unfortunate, seeing as I'm a Rutlander! Yesterday, it was 'Rutland 'til I die!'... which I am, of course :wink:

Sorry, but that's total fallacy. I don't know about pre-1999, but in the 1999-2000 academic year, Hu Stu and Cripps were all-male halls, FB and FN were all-female, the rest were mixed. In the 2000-2001 academic year, every hall went mixed.

Hu Stu was actually better as an all-male hall. Why? Because in the evening, all the girls from FB, FN and the all-girl floors in every hall would turn up to Hu Stu bar (the best bar) and get sloshed with us gents. It was great. :biggrin:

Then Hu Stu went mixed and they stopped coming. So I moved out. :frown:

two days ago at the rumble in the jungle, i heard them dooin all sortsa chants.. but they were so loose with their words i didnt understand much of it..

nonetheless i think it went something like

someone please correct me.. its hard to understand what half drunk folk wif british accents sound like.. :biggrin:
