HmmmInteresting
Just wondering if anyone could help. For the past few days I've had an one-off sore throat, that has got progressively worse. Two days ago I started getting pain in the top part of my chest - near my collar bone - when I inhale deeply. It is made a LOT worse by any exertion and I'm a bit worried... what could it be?

a chesty cold..?

Wait a week or so, if its still as bad go to the GPs. If its really bothering you, or you are short of breath go now.

In the mean time try ibuprofen or paracetemol for pain relief.
I had no other symptoms though... no cough etc.

...due to not covering up properly in the cold.

Could be bronchitis. A friend of mine had it and had pain in the same location. Best to get it checked out, just to be sure.

Hope you feel much better soon.

it could be anything go to the doctors like Jamie said if you don't feel better soon and let the trained people check you out rather than the hypochondriacs (sp?) of tsr.
Okay. Thanking you!
