Rate this 6th form college

well I live in a **** hole called luton and all our colleges generally suck. This is the sixth form all my freinds are going to..

Is that up to national expectations or would it be best for me to look elsewhere?

any recomendations would be cool.

I went to Luton Sixth Form and got AAA and am doing a law degree. I know a fair few people who went onto Oxbridge. The teaching quality is excellent and it is one of the top sixth forms in the country. The govt and politics departnment is 3rd in England. Best not to judge too soon hey..

What was my point... yeah, the 6th form looks quite nice. I assume that if you put the work in they'd see you through to good grades?

I live near Luton and the town in general is ****!

But the VI Form College is good. They teach well and is probably the best further education college in the area. Barnfield College (which is also in Luton) largely do vocational courses. They don't really do A-Levels.

The general gist of the ofsted inspection seems to be "good for kids who are a bit thick", but their results in relation to the area are good, so i dont see why not...
The thing they quote about the students being top in the country.etc., isn't as remarkable as it seems as its actually for that exam board, as comparisons across do no occur. But, then again, you do ge the occasional genii, and if that is the case, was that 3 students or just 1 really intelligent student who did well at 3 subjects (we had a guy who did that in our school and they said there were 3...they also listed everyone who went to brookes as going to oxford, which obviously pissed me off since they never did any work...)
