Best Universities in UK - Chemical Engineering

Hello everybody :biggrin: , i'm an international student from the middle east and i'm currently doing my A-levels and hopefully leaving next year for my higher education.
I would really really appreciate it if i could get some help about the universities in uk.
I'm considering chemical engineering and i would like to know which universities come after cambridge and oxford universities concerning the universities educational reputation and teaching and well which one is GOOOD.

here are my grades for IGCSE (O-lvl) and AS-lvl
IGCSE: Chemistry and Computer Stds: A* / Biology,Physics,Business Stds : A / Math and English: B

AS-lvl : Math, Chemistry and Physics : A

OH and can someone plz tell me about UCL is it a college or university ????

well here are the top 20 best PERFORMING universities in the county for chemical engineering but there is a massive difference between 'best performing' and 'best'

Which university is best for you is a PERSONAL choice and therefore can only be decided by YOU, I recommend you do some research on universities and maybe ask a few specific questions on TSR, but remember this is your choice which nobody can make for you.

Loughborough is very good. If you need any info just ask :smile:
btw, ucl is a university and one of the best in the uk. Manchester and Imperial are two very good uni's for chemical engineering.

Imperial, ucl and bath would be my choices after oxbridge. Bath has very good links with industry and offers a placement year which is useful for job experience even if you don't want to be a chemical engineer.
