A small pience f dung is fired into the air at 30ms^-1. how long does it take to reach a height of 5m?

    I know i have to use suvat equation so i use x=ut + 1/2 at^2

    x(is displacment).

I presume in order to solve this i have to make a quadratic for T and then solve uing the quadratic formula but im a bit stuck on the rearrnaging of the equation to get a qudratic anyone lend a hand?

    A quadratic would be
    at² + bt +c =0
you have 1/2 gt² which gives a
    ut which gives b
    and x which gives c
