    Hi guys,

Do you know of any schemes that are runnning that allow a 16 Year Old Student (I'll be 17 by next summer) to go to Germany for a few weeks (a summer school or staying with a teacher or something?). I really want to improve my German language skills.

I won't have a massive budget (less than £800) and am just wondering if there are any options. Something very low cost would be best. I am happy to help teach English or something along those lines.

My school recently cancelled a school trip to Berlin and I am trying to work out if there is another way I could go (my family do not want to go to Germany). Berlin would be my first choice but I am overall indifferent to where in Germany I go, just as long as it's Germany!

I am quite good at German (started AS-Level German - Full UMS in GCSE German).

Thanks for your help in advance.

try and have a look here.

    http://www.goethe.de/enindex.htm
    http://www.study-in-germany.de/english/1.278.627.html
    http://www.daad.de/deutschland/deuts...6&skenter.y=12
(the last link may not be relevant, however you could always ask the given universities for some help)

My advice would be to send an email to the Goethe Institute. They will def be able to provide you with some answers.
