Do I have to have sex as part of such a date?

I usually do the gay coffee/art gallery/picnic type dates, but have now been invited to watch a film at one of my datees flat. I just need assurance that it won't be awkward. I mean its not some code for sex is it? I havent juat gone and agreed to sexytimes?

also could I just get some general tips and advice on how to behave at a dinner/movie at his flat? Are there any rules, anything to be weary of. And what sort of clothes should I wear? I was thinking a really baggy, shapeless denim shirt dress that goes down to the lower knee. Dont want to look sexually attractive, but dont worry its a really pretty shirt/dress.

Thanks, please share ur experiences, im new to this! xxxxxxx
Why don't you want to look attractive? And why don't you want sex with him? Are you just being a ***** and stringing him along for your own amusement?

    EXACTLY

All of u are saying im like 11 for thinking movie=sex but I dont want to lead him on

Is agreeing to go to his for a movie leading him onto sex?

I dont want to have.sex because I do not want to have sex. I can take care of my own sexual desire and do not require a male to share sexytimes with. Is that so wrong. Men go out with women with no initial intention of marying them or making them a GF so why cant I go out with a guy without intending on sexing him....

THIS IS IT...Men just want sex, youve as good as just admitted it. By dating a guy whilst being a virgin and nit seeing sex on the cards... Im leading him on?!

    Bloody hell i'll cancel now

    And fyi

I could wear a.bin liner and still look attractive, I just dont want to look sexy. Tight clothes = too sexy when u have a physique like mine.

God this sounds so big headed. Im just annoyed at male attitude. If I coms back tomorrow and its awjward because he wanted sex and I said no then I curse you all. I want to remain good friends with him, and to continue seeing him without sex. Does no one do that anymore?

well that would put most guys off seeing as it simply looks like you havent been bothered to make an effort.

and if you dont want to have sex, you know that thing above your chin and below your nose, its called a mouth, use it to say no.

By going to the flat to watch a movie that is not a legally binding contract to say your having sex.

But seeing as its not a first date and assuming you like the person why are you so horrified about the idea of sex?

thats my thinking as well, surely the whole idea of dates is to impress.
It is merely an invitation to treat. Eg: Pattridge v Crittenden.

OP must accept such invitation for it to be an offer, thus a legally binding contract! :p:

Depends what film you're watching. If it's anything by Michael Bay, you're in there.

If you want to avoid.. "awkwardness", take at least two mutual friends with you to the movie watching.

Watching a movie at someone's place is generally code for going over and getting laid or at least making out, but obviously you never have to have sex if you don't want to.

Honestly it depends on the person. What's his relationship background and attitude towards romance and all that.

If I ask someone to chill around and watch a movie. It's just that... a way to spend time together with someone I like. Then again I'm a virgin so I don't tend to expect that sort of stuff.

ah yes but the invitation is for a movie not for sex, if sex is not mentioned at all even in small print then it would not be a valid legally binding contract as it contains clauses and conditions not placed on said contract rending it void.

can i do a marshall erikson "lawyered" now?
