    Phone student finance.

It should be okay to change but its gonna take awhile, you'll have to fill in all the forms and then all the evidence will need to be sent away and then they will need to process it.

This is correct, but remember you will still get the non-means tested amount when you go to uni, so you'll have something to live off. It'll just be the extra you get from means tested which will take a while to come through.

Forms are all here for download - if your permanent address is with your parents, they'll need to fill out a PFF1 or a PFF2 form:

It might take a few weeks all in all. Best of luck

    Hi hidden_shadow,
It is absolutely possible to do it now. You will need to complete the relevant forms for your sponsor(s) which can be found at the relevant link below.

    http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Educatio...ance/DG_183342

The guidance notes will help you to complete these forms and also identify the correct evidence to send in with them. Once you have done this you can send both the form(s) and evidence back to ourselves and we will process them for you.

    Hope this helps

So I take it I will need to get the PFF1 form. Apart from that:

1)What other forms will I need?
2)How/which form/ what do I need to do to get a grant as I only have loans now?
3)How long will this take and will it affect paying tuition fees to the uni as this is done directly?

You have to fill in 2 PFF1 forms, one for your mum and one for your dad.

MAKE SURE that you read the supporting notes as they tell you what evidence of theirs to send off with them, and once they are processed your account should be updated automatically with the higher loan amount and the grants. This doesn't change the amount paid in tuition fees and shouldn't affect them, and I'd say it should take about a month and a half.
