    I have just had my pin and will be expecting my card soon but when i recive it how much overdraft will i have and if i wanted to increase that is it difficult to do and what documents should i take to the bank?

    I did ask when i set up its just i lost all the letters they gave me :rolleyes: and wanted to check what everyone else has

    I got £1000 overdraft from year one. Twice I had to extend my overdraft to £1100 and they were fine with it and it is still £1100 now although I believe as I am in my 3rd year I might be able to get it up higher.

    Your Student Account automatically come with a £200 overdraft so be careful not to touch it
    You can then apply for an extra overdraft by booking an appointment with your personal banker who looks at your credit limit etc etc just ask them what you need to bring.

    Mine came with an uber stingy £200 overdraft, they won't extend it til you've paid £500 in. Grrr.
