grade predictions should be the same as typical offer? watch

    it's a stupid question and one I probably already know the answer to - lord knows the number of threads about this these past few years - but if, say, for example, a course at LSE/Imperial/UCL etc. required an A*, would it be detrimental to be predicted AAA for A2 even though achieving above 90% had been demonstrated at AS?

    No, it wouldn't put you in an especially weak position I don't think - the A* grade is still new and predicted grades aren't everything.

    Alot of places aren't predicting the A* so you'll be fine.

    EvS is right, though you would still have to achieve an A*. Most universities know that the prediction of A*s is difficult at the moment, but don't think that getting 90% at AS is a good indicator; the A2 modules are typically somewhat harder.

    A2 is definitely harder than AS so al good bloke says not reflective too well of A2 but an AAA prediction should be good enough.
