Hi, I am in year 11 and am going to apply for Latymer Upper School for next year but I want to know a few small facts before applying. Please can people who have been to this 6th form or are still in it reply.
    Thank you
    1) What time does school start and finish?
    2) Can you just go in and leave whenever you want? (ie. for your lessons)
    3) Do you have to attend assembly's, singing and that crap? :L
    4) Are the teachers good? (dumb question I know)
    5) Is it an overall good school?
    6) When writing your personal statement to apply how should you format it? (eg. as a formal letter?)
    7) Anything else I should know??
    Thanks

You don't need to be worrying about personal statements right now. I didn't go there, but know quite a few who did, including the head boy last year, and I went to quite a similar school. Yes, it's a great school. I imagine you will have to be in for the start of the day (~9ish) and then you can leave after your last taught lesson. I think the day is between 9 and 4. I can't go into any more specifics really, but why not just look up the website and see how it does in league tables.

Well I'm applying for it too!
All I know is that its #2 on the state school league table, and it has been voted as the best state school in either London or England. Google 'parent power' and click on the first result!
    Good luck on your application!
