    Hey guys!

I heard people talking about their first and second choices of unis. I want to know what makes it first choice because when I filled my UCAS application, the unis took random places on the screen

I'm just wondering if there's a process where you choose which one is your first, or should I delete my choices and start again (starting with my "first" choice)

I'm not sure I'm making sense because I'm so tired but please try to help.

    Thanks

you do that bit after you get offers. when you're applying what order they're in makes no difference whatsoever

You don't do that until you've got replies.

Just put in your 5 unis, ucas automatically puts them into alphabetical order on your form.

When unis receive your form they can't see where else you've applied to; only you and your school (and ucas!) see that.

UCAS used to do it so that the unis could see which order of prefernec you put them in.
Then they realised how *****y the unis get at seeing you applied to them as your 4th choice and so stopped doing that
Just whack 'em on... I put mine on in alphabetical order due to ocd and whatnot

You don't put them in an order until you get all of your offers back. At the minute it is in alphabetical order of the uni name.
