    GOT AN INTERVIEW!

24/10/10 so very very very soon.

    Congratulations!

Good luck with your interview & let us know how it went.
I think the people with higher UKCAT scores will get interviews first as they still haven't decided on the UKCAT cut-off :9

P.S. how and when did you find out?

No bloody wonder you got an interview!
    Excellent grades and UKCAT.

My UKCAT is probabaly too rubbish for me to get an interview invite

    Yes, but I got 615
I know they haven't yet increased their cut-off as they said in their email that it could be after christmas that they decide so perhaps I will only hear something once the cut-off has been decided.

I wonder how many people got interview invites today.

Have you guys started interview prep? I don't think I will be able to practise properly until/unless I get an invite.

Is your interview on the 24th of this month as well?

Have you seen this university, I loved it. The new Medical Building looks amazing as well

I know. My UKCAT is only 0.75 aobe the current cut-off.
But hopefully I get an interview.
Thanks for letting us know of your interviews Spacepirate & Irina

Thank you Yep I do live in Scotland, really near Edinburgh and i think the other guy with an interview is from edinburgh too so maybe they're doing it regionally? I guess I can do what he did with his grades and that if you'd like:
    UCKAT: 640
Highers: English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Human Biology, Music - all A band 1
    AHs: Physics, Chemistry, Maths
Work experience: 2 weeks in cardiology and reproductive sciences at ERI (I got to hold a clamp in a surgery though, so maybe they liked that?), a day in pediatric oncology at Sick Kids, I went on a 2 week medical camp (we did cadaver dissection/went on hospital visits etc) to grenada and won "best camp clinician" out of 100, went to scottish space school...not sure if thats relevant!!! haha I'm not eligible for leaps/pathways or anything so i had to organise all of that stuff myself
I volunteered at my local hospital for 6 months too

Apart from that i play violin, do film photography and i'm a black belt in karate, i guess maybe unusual extra curriculars?? Dunno really!
From other uni's websites though i'm 100% sure the interviews go out randomly for most, just whenever they come to your application i suppose!!

    GOOD LUCK GUYS! xxx

Well, think of it this way--since the interview is only 20%, you're likely to get an early offer :P

    Morning. 10:58

You're sure to get an interview.
Thanks. I'll constantly be on my phone from now on

I hope they are not going to increase the UKCAT cut-off, but I will probabaly get 0/15% for the UKCAT which is quite a lot.

Let's wait and see who else gets interviews tomorrow.

You must be quite chuffed- interview, high UKCAT, amazing grades. (I'm jealous)
