How to better myself for uni? watch

OP I would say the best thing would be to stop being so much in your head, thinking things over, imagining possible negative outcomes etc. I know it's easier said than done, but try to stay optimistic and don't let negative thoughts and worries take you over. It's a waste of energy. Your anxieties are common to lots of students when they first start uni but personally i found that everything goes alot smoother than you imagine if you just relax and be yourself. Be confident and open and also its important to go easy on yourself: starting uni is a big change so give yourself time to adjust and settle in. Hope everything goes well!

I feel as though I'm not very social too. During my freshers week I didn't feel as though I had got to know as many people as others might have

I think the best way is to always think positive and smile to others =)
it surprises me when people smile back, or even say hello!
