    If i don't take IT for A level but want to study it at university, can i still?

    Edit: My sixth form isnt doing IT A level which is why.

    my friends doing bio chem physics maths and furthermaths and is predicted A*A*A*A*A* and is wanting to do maths and computer scienice at oxford. so i presume youll be okay. ask some uni's and look in prospectuses

    Not neccasarily, I'm going to do Law at university, but i'm not doing A Level Law.
    It just means you might not have as much knowledge on the degree course, and you'll have to start from scratch, as most universities prefer anyway.
    So don't worry.

    Ah thanks for the answer, put my mind to ease a little.
    On another note:
    If i got ALL C's for my GCSES and i do A levels(Business,Philsohpy,sociol ogy & Law) - What are the chances of me getting A's & B's in those Subjects? ( didnt revise much for GCSE's, i will put 100% effort into A levels )

    Bit random but have to think about it lol :/

    you can do it. you NEED to work ALOT outside of school. like get in and write your notes up and do exam papers all year round ect
