So, as expected, Ken has romped to victory in the race to be Labour's London mayoral candidate for 2012. Oona King, the nominal modernising candidate, was pretty convincingly beaten.

All there is to say really.

Ken Livingstone would make a far better mayor than Boris Johnson, pity he's prone to some truly remarkable feats of idiocy e.g. inviting Qaradawi, working for PressTV, etc. What a shame.

Have to agree with Democracy. He would be better than Boris.

Ah! Ken Livingstone, I love that guy(no homo) he has real aura about him that separates him from all the other candidates! 101% better than Boris, that's a fact!

He wasn't actually working for them, he just contributed

I wonder what his Transport policies would be, the cost of travel in London is unbelievable.

You do know he was mayor for eight out of the last 10 years, don't ya?

Why so much Boris hate? Boris is awesome!

Actually I don't know how good he is as a mayor, I just liked his fish metaphor.

He's simply too thick to be mayor. Ever since he suggested putting a pedestrian crossing on the duel carriageway instead of a bridge near my house I lost all respect for him.

+ London needs to move forward, not backwards.

So that's Boris in for another term then, unless the Olympics goes horribly wrong, and even then . . .
