Will it bother you that if you found out that one of your colleagues had acted in a porn movie? Will it effect the way you work with them or will you prefer not to work with them?

It crossed my mind that people who had done porn before will never get a job in the academia e.g teaching, lecturing, etc (unless i'm wrong) or perhaps, future employers will find it difficult to actually accept them in the company? (unless i'm wrong in this one as well) What do you think?

Yeah, maybe it has something to do with their moral but I've heard some University students (don't really know if this true or not) do work in that sorta industry to pay for their fees but won't it hurt their future more if they entered that kinda industry?

I'm not being prejudice or what not, but won't this kinda thing will actually effect people's (negetive) perception towards them, yet some people still tend to do it?

    Any opinions?

Umm that's not true, someone who has worked in the porn industry can do any job they like afterwards. Otherwise it would just be blatant discrimination.

Personally I wouldn't be bothered, why would I? I don't see how it's an issue or anyone elses business. I'd say to people who don't like a person because of it, go be a bigot if you like.

    Yes I could.
I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it though, because that would be offputting.
    I'd still manage though.

A jobs and job and sometimes people in need resort to adverse methods of obtaining cash; theyre still people.

P.S what does it have to do with a person's morals?

I don't see why it would make a difference.

No, probably not effectively, unless they regretted it/were trying to put it behind them. I would probably be more sympathetic towards a woman than a man though.

Nope, no biggie. Thats their job and if they have to do it to support themselves why would i make a big fuss about it? Sometimes you have to do some things in life in order to survive.

It wouldn't bother me since to me porn is not immoral.

I wouldn't care, it's not my place to judge someone if it doesn't affect me. I'd probably want to see it though

Really? Why? Don't men have emotional capacities as women have? If you are saying that most men are doing it for just the fun of it or for the money, well that's a big generalization isn't it?

Wouldn't bother me. I can understand not getting a job where image and respect is everything (say as a PR consultant, a school teacher, etc) but jobs where having naughty videos online won't affect performance it shouldn't be an issue.

Makes no difference to me. If they are the right candidate for the job so be it.

If it was a man I might have a bit of a laugh about it. Actually, I'd probably do the same if it was a woman, unless they don't like to talk about it. Apart from that I wouldn't care.

Er, which is why that's not what I'm saying?

Well it'd certainly be good blackmail material (unless he/she doesn't care about anyone knowing).

Dr Victoria Zdrok was (is?) a porn star and is also an academic and author. Wouldn't bother me.
