Ditto. I have no interest in what Britney Spears might be wearing in her videos, and I would've liked Womanizer if the vocals had been recorded by someone completely different.
:five: Wow, one look at your Last.fm page tells me that you really have the epitome of eclectic tastes. I like that, you're kinda cool

I have an active dislike of the soft indie pop that can be found in any film starring Michael Cera.

Can't believe all the hate for metal! It astounds me that even now, in this day and age, people still dismiss it all as meaningless noise.

All the haters should watch the following videos, proof that metal =/= just noise:

But to answer the question- I hate almost all commercial music. Talentless, autotuned crap, with the only selling point an annoyingly catchy tune.

Why does the guy singing always sound like someone is squeezing his balls in a vice? I'd have to agree that R'n'B has no redeeming elements what-so-ever.
What you mean a falsetto? I have to see although this has been a thread full of dumb misinformed views this comes top. Here was me thinking that the incredible song writing and instrumentation of some R n' B as well as the sheer inventiveness and creativity of certain artists was a redeeming quality, but I guess I was wrong

RnB. It's blooming awful. I could live with awful lyrics if the music itself was actually good, sadly it isn't. Dance music sounds horrible to me as well. Apart from songs that fall into either of those categories, I'll give any music a chance.

But that's just my opinion. I think some of my friends have rubbish music taste and some of them think likewise about me.

Practically anything that's in the UK Top 40. Horrible, processed and generic crap on the most part.

 I can't believe the people calling R&B crap. Seems like all you've heard is Jason Derulo, Sean Kingston and Iyaz

Fair enough if it's not your favourite genre, but seriously though, for anyone interested, would you listen to these songs and call them crap?

Make of it what you will, but I think most genres tend to have stuff that's good and stuff that's bad.

The first two songs are kinda nice :yep:. I think some metal is OK, and I know there's different sub-genres of it, but the only type I really dislike is the type with horrid growling sounds (death metal I think).

That's metal music? I dunno if I'd have called it that, but it's definitely wonderful sounding :daydreaming:. Edit: OK, I just got to the middle, that's definitely metal to me :yep:. Thanks for opening my eyes (or ears? lol)
