I already have quite a lot of cookbooks which I use at uni (I'm a 3rd year) but none of them really give any recipes for just one person and I'm sick of making stuff by dividing all the ingredients which often means I waste stuff.

I've been looking on Amazon at cookbooks for one person but its difficult to get any real idea of what they are like.

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

why don't you just make the right amount for the recipe and then put the leftovers in the fridge to eat another day, then you're not wasting it and won't have to spend as much time cooking everyday

Just 1/2 or 1/4 the recipes or freeze the leftovers.
