I study French and will spend one semester in a French speaking country next year, so I'm thinking about places I might like to go.

I know that years abroad are funded by Erasmus, and therefore are more likely to be in Europe.

But I've always been interested in Quebec and would like to know if there's any kind of funding or grant I could apply for to study at, say, Université Laval (I have a friend there).

    Thanks!

You should see if your Uni has any special agreements with Quebec.

Have a look on www.iagora.com - in the study section. There you should find lots of info on all different year abroad unis.

If you go to Quebec, try not to get their accent because then nobody in France will understand you... Whenever I hear Quebec French, I first think it's a foreign language before realising some words sound familiar :sigh:
