Applying to McGill with A levels, application process, scholarships? watch

    • Thread Starter

I'm a Canadian Citizen and considered a Quebec Resident by birth (so I already know I can get financial aid from the Quebec Government and pay local fees) and I'm currently studying in England and have just started my A Levels. I know it's quite early to ask questions about application but I have a year before I apply and that doesn't seem like that long!
Has anybody applied with A levels before? Their site says that for A Level students, we have to arrange for the exam board to send transcripts to them... how does this work? Plus, I have read a lot about how competitive and hard it is to get in.. except their admission requirements clearly state "three A-Levels with predicted and final grades of B, B, C or better, or two A-level and two AS subjects with grades of B, B, C, C, or better, or B, C, B, B, or better". Obviously candidates with higher grades will be preffered, but reading what others have said it's as if you need As and A*s to get in! Do we not just put in our acheived AS grades and predicted A2 grades? Also, how hard to is to just get the basic $3000 scholarship?

Sorry for such a long post guys! Thank you!
