    Not sure what your university will accept for ID but you need to apply for a new birth certificate from the Register Office of the district where you were born as you will definitely need one in the future.

    Admin - I'm starting on a PG course, sorry I didn't specify that.

    OK, the only thing I have is my first birth certificate issued where there was a mistake made under one of my parent's 'place of birth' details. The birth certificate was subsequently amended and I can't find a copy of this later one. Would the first one be OK to show to the university? I mean, would they take note of all the details or just glance at it? I'm not sure what the protocol is!

    I haven't been able to get in contact with the uni. I'm due to enrol on Wed, how screwed do you reckon I'll be?
