    Hi,

    Can anyone tell me what reputation History HL Geography HL and Economics HL have in comparison to one another at different unis and for different courses?(I will take only one Humanity since I may want to study medicine and thus I need 2 sciences)

    It is impossible to say! If you were applying for one of those courses, you'd almost certainly need the HL in the relevant subject.

    You should just pick what appeals to you and you are good at. This also applies to the question of doing two sciences simply because you "might" apply for medicine. How sure are you that this is what you really want to do? If you prefer other subjects to sciences this may be a good reason for rethinking that one!

    hmm, well these are my two fields im looking at; medicine and everything to do with humanities(Economics, Politics, PPE, Philosphy things like that)

    I do geography HL and love it, but like you I want to go into a medical related field. My reckoning was that geography was the one closest to a science, and therefore the closest I could get to doing three sciences. But like Minerva said go for the one you enjoy the most, any IB course is tough so make sure it's one you'll at least enjoy. My friends who do History find it quite dull, but I know a lot of the people who do economics enjoy that.
