Two substances, paracetamol(acetaminophen) and methyl paraben, are provided. Suggest a physical method to distingiush one from each other (e.g. solubility in different solvents).

I think that they are both organic electrolytes and behave as weak acids. In different solvents, both of them have similar solubilities, don't they? They are very similar and I just can't think of any physical method to distinguish them.

    Can anyone help me? Thanks
