    1. Make sure your answers include facts and figures
    Applicants who provide generic responses to questions fail to set themselves apart from their competition.
    2. Dress appropriately
    You only get one chance to make a first impression and your dress is your first impression.
    3. Be on time
    The worst thing you can do is to arrive late for an interview.
    4. Be prepared
    With access to the Internet it is easy to find information on the company with which you are interviewing.
    5. Shut up and listen
    It is easy to get caught up in the moment and attempt to recite your entire life history in response to a single question.
