To prevent rather than cure: make sure you drink a litre of water before you go to bed. If you feel like you're going to throw up, get to the bathroom and just puke- it gets it out of your system and makes you feel a lot better come morning! But if you do puke, start again with the water, just make sure it's in there.
My routine generally goes- loads of water, moping around moaning at my mum/flatmates/boyfriend until I feel well enough to eat something disgusting and greasy. Then I go back to bed for 3 hours, wake up, have a shower, have dinner, and by then I'm feeling vaguely human again. My hangovers last all day, always.
Before you go to bed, make sure you've eaten something so you're not just sleeping on a stomach full of alcohol. Also make sure you drink a tonne of water .... as much as you can until you feel sick! Then the next day eat a fry up/bacon/egg sandwich and drink vitamin water/lucozade sport. Alternatively, my friend swears by Andrews Salts :smile:
