I'd like to start this thread by saying I'm such an indecisive person when it comes to what course to study and where. I've made so many wrong decisions in the past which mean I now feel even more pressurised about choosing the right course. I've thought long and hard about it over the past year (gap year) and finally settled on courses that I thought I'd be happy with so put my application in. My mind is now full of careers, courses and universities I feel so unsettled and am unsure whether to cancel my UCAS application just 10 days after submitting it. I know I NEED to make the right decision now but I feel so confused about what to do. I was happy with all my A Level subjects which makes it harder to choose as there's no obvious subject I excel in. Sometimes I think I should just carry on with this application, settle into university and careers will follow through but I'm so worried about making the wrong decision. The only thing I'm certain about is I love studying and want to go to university.
The other subjects I would consider are Maths or going in a totally different direction with an arts subject. Did anyone else/does anyone else feel worried about 'giving up' other subjects they've enjoyed throughout school?

I had this problem, too. Just so you have an idea of the range, I started with Psychology, moved into Philosophy, then decided I wanted to do Classics, then Classical Archaeology and now, I've applied for Scandinavian Studies. So... yeah. It does happen but just keep in mind that it's all a journey and eventually, you'll find what subject and course is right for you. Good luck!
