The first one, where it's stunned into a painless, unconscious state is the Western method. The following methods, where its throat is torn open whilst its conscious and in a state of panic is halal.

Well that's an extraordinarily biased piece of propaganda. The kicking were death throes, the convulsions all complex animals go through as the brain dies. It happens whether the animal is stunned or not, but of course the video wont show that because it ruins the message. The blade used to slit the throat is very sharp and very wide. There is not tearing; the cut is clean and fast. Unconciousness in ritual slaughter occurs within 3 seconds in cattle with little to no pain from the incison; and from that point brain tissue begins to die until total death after normally no more than 35 seconds.

I can't give you an exact time to the second but as someone else has said up to half a minute on average. If you slit your own throat I guarantee you would be aware and suffer for long enough to not wish it upon anything else.

No you wouldn't, not if you severed the carotid and jugular. You'd lose conciousness in a second or two.

That article cites 35 or so seconds as the time for death. Death is not loss of sensation.
