Does anyone have a good site/blog which constantly updates lists to show gigs for small-ish/fairly unknown (or not so small, but good) ambient/shoegaze/instrumental/post rock/minimal etc artists?

I know it's probably a difficult question to get replies for, but whatever. Anything useful will be appreciated :yep:

I've seen one website like that once but it's so obscure I can't find it anymore. Also probably would be 2deep4u

Last.fm recommends gigs based on your music taste, and doesn't miss out the obscure. I'd have missed loads if it wasn't for this site!

Hey thanks for the reply. Would it matter if I don't have a current last.fm account though 'cos I haven't really picked out music or favourited anything from last.fm for ages. Am I gonna have to go to it and tick all the bands I like or something lol :<

You can browse events by genre without having an account at all, but it works a lot better if you have an active profile. Just listen to some music in itunes, spotify etc and it should soon learn what you like

I prefer All is Violent All is Bright... but yeah they're the best shoegaze/post rock band out there!

M83 are my second favourite, but they're not touring...
