Looking for some info regarding uni.. I completed my first year, year 09-10 but failed two exams and didn't apply for the resits in august as I was working all summer. Now uni has started back and I've not e-mailed my advisor or anybody regarding not going back and nobody has been in contact with me about but I do keep getting e-mails regarding this years classes, labs, tutorials etc. I went on websuf to check it out and I've obviously not registered but get the feeling they are expecting me back.. Is this the case? I'm still in work and ideally I'd be taking at least a year out to work and then going back to uni.. Probably with a change of course. So who should I be telling about this? And where do I stand with SAAS??! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

If you've applied for student fiance for the year, you defiantly need to contact them otherwise you'll be racking up loans. Best thing to do is contact your head of department and explain the situation, if you tell them then they can defer your entry onto the second year, if you just leave it you wont be able to just come back to complete your degree.
