Hi everyone. I recently purchased a suede (soft leather) coat. It is great and for a price was a bargain but as we know English weather isn`t the best for it so I would appreciate if someone shared their experience in using suede coats.

How do you waterproof it? How well does it work? Does it repel most water or would it still soak in heavy rain?

It would be a shame to leave such a fashionable accessory in a draw so help me out please.

multipurpose water protector, you can see them sold for suede shoes but they'll work on your coat aswell. You can get some at the supermarket. It does soak a bit and get water damage but that's inevitable. Suede and water shouldn't really mix.
