'Yorkshire or there about' Residents - GRASSY && ALONE place like a massive field...

Suggestions please.

It can be North, South, East or West Yorkshire, or anywhere even a bit further out, just had to be a massive patch of grass, like a field, where not many people go.

It doesn't have to be flat, it can be hilly, etc, just need some recommendations.

Atm i'm thinking some in York...

Anywhere else? Something like this...

Spoiler

Thanks.

Visit. Have a picnic. Quiet day alone, etc.

The Harrogate place looks pretty decent.

Thanks.

If you want quiet, I'd go out of Harrogate to the proper countryside - The Stray can get pretty busy during peak months. Saying that, it won't be this time of year but then it's got a clay undersoil, so it's just mud atm.

There are loads of places you can go though. TBH, anywhere between Leeds and York on the train will pretty much be a winner. If you've a car, there are loads and loads of places. :yep:

I live in Ben Rhydding ~ I can see the cow and calf from the window as I am typing this :proud:

Also, Ilkley > Harrogate

A lot of people visit the Museum Gardens in York's city centre but they're really gorgeous. Right next to the river as well.

I wouldn't recommend a picnic in Yorkshire right now though... it's drizzly and bloody freezing! In York it is at least.
