For maths io bought a pack from my exam board(edexcel) It contained from 3 years back, i personally would recommend doing the past four years as they iwll be the ones with the most relevant questions on, however 2 or 3 past papers would be fine for other subjects but for maths and science i would suggest 3 or 4. Only start doing practice papers once you are in a comfortable routine with the rest of your revision, as this will be when they are most useful.
I hope that helped.
i havnt started past papers yet

thanks for reading,
just wondering from which year should i start doing past papers, especially for maths, and other subjects to.
pls advise

Math is a sub where tons of practice is mandatory...so my counsel to you is do as many papers as you can do! Obviously the latest years of past paers are where you need to more stress, but this doesnt mean that you dont look at the earlier yrs...its all a matter of practice
Yes, make sure that you can do the concept before you do the paper or it wastes your time! Good Luck!

if i were you i'd save the real past paper for closer to the exams, they usually serve as a confidence booster and gets you right into the style of the exams.

There are papers called solomon papers that my college gave us for extra practice,. I think during the exam period i counted i had done 45 finishes papers, which is the solomon's twice + real ones.

Some people get away with less, but it really helped me.
Yeah 45 papers is alot , I think I did only like 15 papers and I got an A, but then again I did loads of questions from the book and only did the papers like 3 weeks before the exam as practice , but I didnt have access to loads of papers like some ppl.......
