1. Hi I'm really stuck on this question:
differentiate ln((x+1)/x)

Thanks.

A couple of ways to do this. You could use a substitution of u = (x+1)/x and use chain rule or notice that ln((x+1)/x) = ln(x+1) - ln(x)
3. I was thinking of using the chain rule but how would you differentiate (x+1)/x. Thanks
4. You could try breaking this log up into and then differentiate each respectively.

A couple of ways to do this too. (x+1)/x = 1 + 1/x = 1 + x^(-1) or use the quotient rule.
