Get a mate to post in an online forum asking for suggestions because he's too pussy to just ask her himself.

    Obviously.

Subtle hints, like spitting hairs out when he goes down on her?

****, that's tricky since it could offend her. He could always mention it in passing, like during a conversation about hair care.

What, nobody else talks about their pubes? Just me? Damn.

Shaving is uncomfortable for many girls btw.

Tell him to rip it out in clumps until she gets the hint.

A more important question is why isn't she shaving there already?

Before going down, put gardening gloves on and then get the hedge trimmers out.

Why should she have to? It can be uncomfortable for some and isn't beneficial in any way other than aesthetics really.

Just say you prefer it being smooth down there and you find it a massive turn on.

    Shaven girls = hot

Err, it's his girlfriend, just ask her nicely if she could do something different with it. I've never felt uncomfortable telling boyfriends what I prefer.
