Got to get up really early tomorrow for this lecture thing.

Haven't bought any tickets and they've told us that if we don't have tickets we're not going to get in so there's no point going out.

    My flatmates annoy me.

I don't want to go because I'm knackered.

No one makes proper friends in the first week at a club when drunk anyway.

Don't want to feel like crap tomorrow when I can meet some people doing my course

Want to talk to my friends and family that I miss on msn, facebook and skype.

I am perfectly happy to stay in my nice little cosy room

    Thoughts?

    .
You're not boring for not wanting to go out on one night. Just because it's Freshers doesn't mean you have to party every night. Enjoy a night in and go out some other time.

Don't go out clubbing but don't just sit in your room on msn. Its a slippery slope.

No, just make sure you do get out some other time. I went 8/10 nights, and I was feeling refreshed and didn't get Fresher's Flu.
Also, it didn't stop me meeting people, instead of going out I lingered in the common room area

Everyone's different, I spent a lot of my freshers week chilling with my friend from home in her room on campus, sometimes with others, sometimes just us! Hope you find some people you get on with tomorrow at your lecture, and don't give up on your flatmates, you've only known them a day or two! But chill-evenings are always good to recharge after the weirdness of moving in, enjoy.

I disagree, hangovers are a awful feeling and going out so much becomes boring in itself even if you have a great time it loses its touch.

I would go drinking more if I didnt get hangovers, had more cash and could chill out a lot more.

I wish people were more like you. I don't have any ethical issues with people liking drinking/clubbing, but it certainly makes life difficult for me. I wish we didn't live in a society where not being regularly plastered on the floor of a nightclub makes you worthy of ridicule.
