My parents are kindly funding me and I'm selling a lifetime's accumulation of console games and bad novels on ebay. I'm hoping to do some IB internships which'll be lucrative too.

Just a note to freshers : if you're having serious money problems, you don't need to start selling off stuff, or get a job. (Which is frowned upon and not really allowed in term time anyway.) The college finance office should be able to help you out. Thats one of the things they're there for. JCRs often have hardship funds too.

Money should never really be a problem. If you run into problems, you go to college and ask them to help you
