Long story cut short...last year I started my first year at univeristy in Feb decided against finishing the year due to personal reasons and took on a full time job. I reapplied to the same univeristy and a very simmilar course, and when i attempted to enrol, i was denied, claiming i was already at the university and i had failed the last year.

I have seen the course admin team to explain that I left rather than fail the year, however they have not took this on board and have told me i should not be at the uni due to academic failure. What i cant seem to understand is why an admin error is denying me from enrolling. Furthermore, if this was the case, how come it was not highlighted during the ucas application process. If this was so, I should have gone to the other universitys that had offered me a place. would be grateful if you could give me some feedback on this

did you tell the uni you were leaving at the time?
If you didnt then you will have technically failed though either way they should let you enrol, if they still think you are there then you will have to complete a change or course form probably.
