Qualifications to become a college lecturer watch

    • Thread Starter

I've recently finished a BA Hons degree in Music Technology (Pointless Course) and i'm now sat in my mums house unemployed and the idea of becoming a College Lecturer has been batting around my head a bit.

What qualifications (for example a "PGCE") would i need on top of my Uni Degree to become a lecturer in college at A-Level and BTEC levels?

    Any help would be awesome!

I know most lecturers at my college have a PGCE. 3 of my lectures also have masters and one has a PHD, but they're head of departments etc. For just a usual teacher at college it's a degree + a PGCE believe from what I know, it's what my best friend wants to do.
