Aww thanks! Last Tuesday was actually my first real date in over a year though, I reckon people are asking me out because all their mates have gone off to uni and they're lonely!
I haven't been on a proper date for years. Like since back when we used to go ice skating lol. We all meet each other through friends now.... The thought of actually asking a girl on a date seems a bit wierd

Is that true? Do you really believe in 'no sex before marriage', or are you just saying that to stop men trying to get into your pants?

Assuming it's true, then why not just be honest men you meet and tell them 'I'm not interested in sex before marriage'?

A man can only 'try to buy his way into his panties' IF YOU LET that happen. Come on! Let's get real...you could EASILY refuse his offer of free dinners, you could easily refuse his offers of money, gifts, incentives, favours etc. You don't have to ACCEPT these 'free gifts'.

You could also easily say to him 'Listen, I've got to be honest with you, I don't believe in sex before marriage due to religious reasons. I know you're trying to buy your way into my pants with free dinners/gifts etc. It won't work with me I'm afraid'.

Why can't you just be straight up and honest with the men you meet about what you're looking for? Don't ******** me about....answer me honestly now.

Manipulation is a two way street. If a guy tries to manipulate a woman, he leaves the door wide open for her to manipulate him.

Whereas if a guy is straight up and honest about his intentions, a girl can't manipulate him.
i dont see why though, if i go on a date with a dude, i dont think it is appropriate to discuss my sexual history, if it is just two people finding each other attractive and enjoying company, then why should i?

in most cases even if i tell the dude i am waitig until marriage, he still sais 'thats ok i'll wait' and buys me loads of stuff takes me real nice places 'because he wants to'. so whats a gal to do? i've warned him, ive said to a few guys, i AM wasting your time and money but they dontr listen

also, because of your ideas, do you think that if a dude spends alot of money on a gal he has the right to demand sex?

Well if you DEFINITELY told them in an upfront, honest and straightforward manner that you had no interest in having sex with them before marriage, and that they were wasting their time, then it isn't your fault. However, you COULD still refuse the gifts and the dates etc. You don't HAVE to accept their money.

No I don't. Nobody has the right to demand sex. Sex should only ever take place between two mutually consenting people.

The only time a man has the right to demand sex is if he paid a prostitute or escort for it (but then he wouldn't need to demand it in this case).

Last date I went on I was about 15 :moon:

    I don't really mind.
I think my current boyf sort of asked me out initially, but we changed our plans and I just ended up going over to his and we first got together there

I think the idea of a date is a bit formal and scary to be honest. I wouldn't turn the offer down though, could be exciting.

Shinytoy, from what I've read you seem to be lacking a sense of morality and general good nature towards men. I realise that society has dictated many of your beliefs to you through use of the media, hollywood and so on... "men should take women on dates, buy them flowers etc"... however take a step back and think next time you accept a gift from a guy, are you accepting the gift because of a mutual attraction, or are you just being selfish and moneygrabbing?

Beadle, that was one hell of a rant earlier =P I totally get where you're coming from but I think a lot of the people reading it will think that you consider all women deceiving and despicable, shame really =/

if ive told a dude im not interested or am interested but not shagging him til we are married, tehn its his bad if he wants to buy me gifts. the nature of gifts is the pleasure of giving without expecting anything in return.

    Seriously? Are you perhaps deaf?
Okay, I don't think we should be using the word "Awesome" after describing Hanna Montana/Miley Cyrus

Wow people are retarded - It is funny that a dude can get seriously bored, change his profile to look like a girls and put an ironic hannah montana picture there, then describe it so sarcastically and people still believe it is for real. It is also funny now I have a googled pic of a hot girl as my profile picture I have got loads of pm's telling me I am hot...
