    Hi

So I heard a great lecture by someone given at the LSE, and want to reference it in my PS. How do I refer to it when I wasn't there but heard it? Saying, "I recently heard..." sounds like I was personally there

    Thanks

Just reference the time and date on the lecture and note that it was a recording you heard.

They have a website where they put all of their events for people to watch or listen to

Say you reviewed a lecture online from the LSE, or something like that.

You're not really referencing it, you're just writing about it on your personal statement right? In that case can't you just simply say "I recently watched a lecture online..." :dontknow:
