I need to know what my chances are realistically watch

    • Thread Starter

I go to school where most people get D's and E's at AS level. I got an AAC which, by my school's standards, is like worthy of Oxbridge or something. I know AAC is pretty good (A's in politics and psychology, C in English Lit which I'm retaking) but the fact that I only have three as opposed to four as levels, and the fact that two out of these three subjects aren't really 'traditional' makes me think I don't stand much chance of getting into an AAB university - either Leeds or Birmingham, ideally - to do Politics. My school are unhelpful as, like I said, they're basically telling me I could go to Oxford if I wanted which I know is next to impossible lol, so yeah. Realistic opinions, people?

you can apply to oxford for just politics if you can push up your predictions to lets say A* A A

Congratulations on getting good grades when the odds were against you.
